Community Experiences of Music

            In addition to its student recitals, the Ankeny Academy of Music has brought public concerts with fine artist performances to Ankeny. Usually these concerts are held in the Neveln Center , 406 SW. School Street, where we are located. Sometimes they are held in the DMACC auditorium.

            A series of 4-5 public concerts called “Second Sundays at Two” has been scheduled during each school year. The dates for the 2008-2009 series are as follows:
