Community Service through Music/Lifelong Learning Classes

Lifelong learning classes are held in the meeting room of the Kirkendall Library. The last three years these have been DVD lectures presented free with permission of “The Teaching Company.” These are college level classes with Dr. Robert Greenberg and the San Francisco Philharmonic Symphony. Have you ever wondered why music can arouse memory and emotions? Why is it so universally appealing? Series 1 and 2 is “Fundamentals of Music” and 3 is “A Tribute to Mozart.” Come enjoy the free classes! No tests! These are 8-week series sessions:

Series 1 Oct 2- Nov. 20

Series 2 Jan 22- March 12

Series 3 March 26-May 14
