Registration:

For school age children or adults, private lesson instruction is arranged by registering through the office. For inquiries by email or voice-mail, please leave a call back contact number as well as your name and a brief message. Daytime office hours before school begins , 1:00-4:30 pm. After school begins, 1:00 to 3:00 pm, Monday Wednesday, Friday. If these hours are not convenient and you want a personal appointment, it can be arranged.

Calendar:

The Ankeny Academy of Music school year consists of four terms.

Term 1:  8 weeks – Wed. Sept. 3^rd to Tues. Oct. 28^th.

Term 2:  9 weeks – Wed. Oct. 29^th  to Sat. Jan. 17^th

Term 3:  8 weeks – Mon. Jan 19^th to Sat. March 14^th

Term 4:  9 weeks – Mon. March 23^rd to Thurs May 21^st

Nine weeks terms allow rehearsal times for student recitals—mid year, Dec 14^th and end of year, May 21^st.

Schedule:

Adult lessons are arranged at the mutually convenient time for instructor and student, Monday through Saturday. School-aged, half-hour sessions are scheduled between the hours of 3:00 pm and 8pm Monday through Friday or rarely on Saturday.
